Kwik Stop and Dairy Queen sponsor Halloween Harvest

The 13th annual Halloween Harvest took place on Saturday, October 20 at Kennedy Mall. This family-friendly event gives children the opportunity to celebrate Halloween, while supporting Hills & Dales.

Area businesses and organizations set up "pumpkin patches" throughout the mall where children trick-or-treated. As corporate sponsors of the event, Kwik Stop and Dairy Queen had a "pumpkin patch" decorated with straw bails, pumpkins, and Halloween characters. Volunteers from Kwik Stop, Dairy Queen, and Rainbo Oil passed out approximately 375 glow-in-the-dark pails and DQ kid's meal coupons.

Tickets were sold at Kwik Stop locations for $5 with proceeds supporting Hills & Dales' mission of, "building meaningful lives for persons with disabilities."
